The 9th Installment of the STYLIST BOUTIQUE @ BIANCA STARR!

When I first met DOMONIQUE she was 18 years old and sneaking into my old hot spot, 222 CLUB in SF. Actually she wasn't sneaking in, she was walking in. I remember her causing chaos and talking smack to a patron and the patron ran up to me (while I was 5 or 6 months pregnant) and warned me that that woman was underage and that she should never be allowed in again! As I chased her towards the door, she grabbed her Louis bag and darted in what seems to be a very expensive L E X U S. I thought to myself.... fuck that, we need her back in here. SHE IS FIERCE! Months later I was re-introduced to her and have been addicted to her style and essence ever since. I am so happy and proud to have her participating in the next STYLIST BOUTIQUE. Not only is she a great woman, she is also one of the most amazing and creative women in SF.

MANI needs no introduction. He is the most beautiful man in SF. His style is contagious but never duplicated. He is sexy, intelligent and his style is beyond compare.

WHAT? When we ask the hottest stylists/artists to come and work out our window display for the month and also bless our "stylist rack" with goods from past photo shoots and other major-ness (get it?) for the month! We have an opening party where we serve vino and champers and all gather to shop/drink and talk fashion~
WHEN? Thursday NOVEMBER 17, 2010
TIME? 6-9pm
WHERE? BIANCA STARR BOUTIQUE 3552 20th Street (btw Mission and Valencia)

Mani Motarjemi
“Mani’s World” I try to improve my craft everyday. My artwork means more to me than anything else…reflecting my culture, and what I find poignant at the time, the greatest joy I have is to share it with the rest of the world.
I was born in Tehran, Iran in 1987; I was raised in Iran until age 5 then immigrated to America in 1991. A huge change in my family’s life style, we adjusted well. My parents sent my older brother and I to the best schools through their motivation and full support we found our own paths in life. I was always viewed as more of an eccentric and had an eye for fashion at a very, very young age. I fantasized about living in a metropolitan city and creating a fantastic world filled with exotic new experiences and beautiful friends, here I AM!

Domonique Echeverria
couturier here in San Francisco.. .for those of you who know me, I am sorry for my sins (not really), for those of you who dont here's a bit of background information that might prepare you for whats about to happen; I have been living the life of a gypsy glam rocker drag queen trapped in a real woman's body here in the Bay Area for 23yrs (my whole life). I attended FIDM right out of high school from July 2005 to May 2008 to pursue my dream of being a fashion designer. Upon attendance, I soaked myself with nightlife excitement and the underground fashion scene here in SF and NY, meeting all sorts of characters and experiencing extraordinary and bizarre happenings. Inspired by Erte, Liza Minnelli, past lives, glamour, and performers from all walks of life I strive to grasp beauty and magic from everyone I meet and work with. . . and with a nod to the past and a wink to the future I bring modern innovation to extraordinary people.

Giants win, SF Gets Hyphy, Smile Now, Cry Later

The GIANTS WIN! SF shows world that we know how to party. It brings me back to the good ol days. Like when the Niners would win more than 6 games. The Niners suck. WTF?
Back to the Giants winning and the whole city going bollistic...... T'was fun....... A night to remember. A weekend to remember. It brings me back to the good old days of the mission district. Before vegan takeovers and high rents. When no one wanted to come to the mission unless there were ties to the mission. Cultural ties. The lowriders riding low, the cholas looking fly and the homeboys laying easy. I was there, I remember...........
