SHOP A STYLIST'S CLOSET
"The Stylist Boutique at the vintage store BIANCA STARR in San Francisco is a small stroke of brilliance. Since most of us don't have standing appointments with famous stylists like Tina Chai or Andrea Lieberman, the innovative spot is enlisting local fashion phenoms (many of whom honed their skills at hometown mega-players like Gap) to sell their much-loved finds in its store. And since the curators aren't on site, there's no pressure to try (or buy) a crazily out-there look."

Women's Initiative visits BIANCA*STARR boutique

I love it when I get phone calls from Women's Initiative and they ask if they can bring by a group of investors to see how my store is doing. They always ask me to bring out my vision board and talk a little about how I got it all started with the idea of opening up a boutique.. I still don't know that answer but I fake it really well!
