CARNIVAL 2010 - La Calle MISSION

I decided to open BIANCA*STARR a little later than usual so that we could take part in all the fun happening within 10 feet away from the business. CARNIVAL was in full effect! I pulled myself together after a long night and we were on our way! The sun was SHINING bright and we were all in a great mood.The grand marshall, Benjamin Bratt was looking amazing and so were my ladies. The Carnival was full of beautiful and inspiring colors and the music had us shaking our hips. We fought our way through the crowd and made a stop by Wonderland Boutique for a couple of beers and it was off to Harrison Street to people watch. One fight and one guilty for not being at the boutique moment later and I was gone.
Food Report : Pupusas were too bland but I ate it anyways.
Drinks: They really need more drink vendors. Fresh juices? Water? Horchata?

I ended up opening around 4pm and it was worth it. All of the after - party drunk ladies came in and they wanted to spend cash! I even caught a photo of a woman taking off her jumpsuit to tinkle. Ladies!!!! No matter what, try and keep your composure! It is daylight and all...

Stylist Boutique is BACK this SATURDAY! 12-5pm

Did you ever want to get your hands on what the fashion stylists are wearing? Here's your chance! We are excited to present the 4th installment of THE STYLIST BOUTIQUE at BIANCA STARR with RACHEL LENA ESTERLINE.
We are excited to host our monthly rotating stylist consignment rack for June otherwise known as "THE STYLIST BOUTIQUE". We have the hottest, most talented women in the city who have graced us with their fashion influence and asked them to pick out 20 to 30 of their favorite pieces that they can part with to be out on consignment at BIANCA STARR. In addition to their selected pieces they will also design our storefront window and be as creative as their hearts desire for that month.

Stylist boutique with Katie Quinn - Q the Stylist... better late than never

Q The Stylist graced us with her style when she entered into the stylist boutique early May. The opening party was a great success with over 75+ attendees all crammed into our little boutique. Come by and check out her selection before it's over. June 5th we will be transforming the "Stylist Rack" and making way for none other than Ms. Rachel Lena Esterline. Stay tuned for more deets.

BEST PLACE TO PICK UP A VINTAGE GEM : 944 PICKS US!



I was excited to pick up a 944 magazine the other day and see that it was their hot picks issue. We made the list! 222 Hyde was also in there which makes me one happy entrepreneur. Speaking of entrepreneurs...... my dearest friends Irene and Houston of Chillin' Productions recently had their grand opening of their new gallery boutique WONDERLAND located at 2929 24th Street @ Alabama. We played dress up there last night and the designers she carries are all top notch SF locals. Come and show her some love! She will be curating monthly art shows. Be on the look out!
