We bowled a pretty good game but definitely know we took it in the style competition. My only flaw was my bra straps! I know better but at the end of the night when it was time for a group shot I had no choice! I was D O N E !!!!!! We will be back next year!

FRIDAY NIGHT HOLIDAY PARTIES ARE ALL THE RAGE

And what a perfect time! We have had two successful events these past two weeks. Jasmine Hamed's beautiful feather jewelry sale was such a success. Thanks to Pearl vodka for sponsoring out party! Thank you Irene for playing killer music and most of all thanks to everyone who shopped the local businesses in the Mission and supporting us! The Shop Mission Local was a huge success and I am honored to be part of it. I am the new kid on the block but I was still asked to join in and I appreciate it!

Last night, we had a party featuring Georgia Rew of Pretty Pretty and Sara from The Glam. They were offering free hairstyles to our customers last night along with complimentary bang trims. Watch out for these two beautiful and talented ladies! They really worked it out last night. They will be doing "pop up" hair parties all around the city in the next few months! We also had my dear friend and past Chef at Emmy's Spaghetti Shack and Front Porch come by. She played a few 45's and left me some of her AMAZING hot sauce! She is all sold out for now, but watch out for her! She is gonna KILL it in 2010 with the opening of the newest restaurant in Oakland. More info coming soon....

Former nightclub owner Bianca Kaplan has stocked her well-edited store with apparel from the 1930s through today. Kaplan’s collection, which she’s been amassing for years, is in immaculate shape and is rounded out with a killer selection of handbags, shoes, and boots.

She’ll even accept consignment pieces from high-end designers (like a pair of never-worn Chanel sunglasses and Gucci handbags on shelves now).

And because she focuses on “going out” clothes, finds like an electric blue leather dress from the ’80s are perfect for a night on the town.
