Public Speaking? OKAY! I was pleased to be asked by Owen Geronimo and the team at San Francisco Fashion and Merchants Alliance to be a guest speaker on styling and present 3 looks to SF's finest. I started off my 15 - 20 minute presentation with an intro about my first fashion inspirations. I couldn't help but to tell the story of how my mom always told me that she loved the name Bianca from hearing it back in the day as being Mick Jagger's wife. BIANCA JAGGER was a fashion icon. She was a fixture at Studio 54 and best friend to Andy Warhol. Her style was unique beyond compare. She was classy but edgy. Fashion forward, but respectful. The best part about her that I could relate to was that she was latina. Mommy, thank you for making me cool from the very start. I love you!
The presentation was held at the gorgeous penthouse at the Infinity Club. I made many connections in the fashion scene in SF and was greeted afterwards with people wanting to take my photo and telling me how much they loved it. I hope to work with them in the future on many other projects. Here are some pics of the night...
